Robert "Randy" R. Krug

Robert “Randy” R. Krug, 64, passed away suddenly on February 17, 2024. He was born in Massillon to the late Robert and Carolyn Krug on October 18, 1959.

Randy worked as a farrier for the past 20 years during which he enjoyed helping the horse’s quality of life, as well as making tons of friendships that will not be forgotten. He also enjoyed hunting with his bird dogs and friends, as well as outdoor photography and hiking.

He was involved in 4H for his entire life. From taking his own projects to lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it, up until his passing.

Randy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Alyse Krug; grandchildren Kaden and Makenna Krug; siblings Debbie (Richard) Gentry, Scott (Denise) Krug and Karen (Doug) Combs; nieces and nephews, Josh (Leslie) Krug, Rachel (Jeremy) Ballinger, Andi (Trent) Hershey, Julie (Jeff) Nicholas and Shelby (Alex) Combs; numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Krug.

There will be a celebration of life gathering on March 9, 2024 from 1-6 pm at Kidron Community Park.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Randy’s name to Pegasus Farm. The farm and their mission were a huge part of his life.
