Robert Paul Krisher, Age 91, Bob passed from this world into God’s eternal love and grace on May 3, 2019. He was born in Massillon, OH on November 1, 1927, and is survived by his loving wife Jane, and daughter Kathy, and his sister, Janet Kohler. He was predeceased by his daughter Diane, and son Tom. Bob grew up in Massillon, Ohio, and graduated from Washington HS in 1945, served in the US Army for two years during WWII, then graduated from Miami University of Ohio. He spent his working career with International BFGoodrich and retired from BFGoodrich/Michelin. During his career, not only did the company move the family to Mexico, Colombia, and Germany, but he also traveled and worked extensively around the world for them. Bob and Jane met in Hamilton, Ohio when he was attending Miami University and she was attending nursing school in Hamilton. They were married in Hamilton in 1952 and spent 66 loving years together. Retirement transitioned Bob into 25 years of volunteer work. He provided income tax service thru AARP in Ohio and Florida, worked at St Joseph Catholic church in Massillon, and with Our Lady of Light church in Estero, Florida. Bob and Jane were snowbirds from the time he retired, enjoying their winter months at first in Bonita Springs, Florida, then in their home in Estero, Florida. Bob enjoyed reading, WWII history, was an avid photographer and enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and boating. He enjoyed kayaking with Kathy both in Florida and in Ohio, as recently as two years ago. Bob lived a life full of faith, love, friends and adventure. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. If preferred in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either St. Joseph Catholic church in Massillon or to the Aultman Hospice of Canton, Ohio. Visitation will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Massillon on May 9th, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, followed by Memorial Mass at 11:00. Memories of Bob can be shared at http://www.paquelet.com
