Robert N. Smith

Robert N. Smith, age 60 of Jackson Township, passed away unexpectedly in Orlando, Florida on Friday, May 13, 2016. He was born on December 20, 1955 in Marietta, Ohio and was the son of the late Norris D. and Amelia E. (Ogle) Smith. Bob was a member of Jackson High School, Class of 1973 and had been employed by Hendrickson Trailer Suspension as an assembler from 1985 through 2009. He attended the First Assembly of God in Massillon. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia (Jones) Smith, his son Steven Smith, stepson Timothy (Kimberly) Lint, his brother Kenneth (Cindy) Smith, his sister Debra Smith and grandchildren, Joel, Micah and Emily and his niece Shannon. A service to celebrate Bob's life will take place on Monday at 11:00 am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastors Jeremy McGraw and Kenneth Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 pm and on Monday from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
