Robert Mohn

Robert Mohn age 80 of Navarre passed away Monday April 14, 2008 at AlterCare of Navarre. Bob was born February 28, 1928 in Wooster to the late Willis & Blanche (Kelbly) Mohn. Robert served in the US Marines at the close of WW II. He spent most of his adult life in Akron where he operated an insurance business and was a truck driver. In the 60s he moved to North Lawrence and then to Navarre. His leisure time was spent playing cards, farming, with his animals and especially with his dog, Shelby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Mohn. Mr. Mohn is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty (Preminger) Mohn of the residence. He has six children and their spouses: Merle Lynn of Copley, Susan (Bob) Caldwell of Cumberland, OH, James Mohn of Massillon, Steven Mohn of Empire, CO, Ronald (Dianne) Mohn of North Lawrence and Joan (Paul) Cebull of Columbus, OH. In addition there are 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a sister in law, Ethel Mohn of Akron. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment.
