Robert M. Johns

Robert M. Johns, age 81 of Massillon, passed onto the Lord with his wife by his side on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Robert was born and raised at Willow Dale Lake in North Canton. He served in the armed forces. Bob retired from Diebold, Inc. in 1985. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Sale H. Johns, Jr. and his sister Pat (Held) Ross. He is survived by his wife Frances (Waltz) Johns, whom he shared 36 years of marriage. They have 4 children; Brenda (Harry) Johns Karalis of Canton, Gregory Stockert of Canton, Jeff (Sheila) Stockert of Dover, and Reggie (Debbie) Stockert of Strasburg. There are 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his step-sister of Betty (Leonard) Harper of Perry Township. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may gather at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Dr. Mark A.
