Robert Louis Leone

Robert Louis Leone, 84, of Massillon, passed away on April 11, 2025 at home .

He was born on May 15, 1940 to the late Antonio and Perrie (Dale) Leone in Flushing, OH.

He was a graduate of Flushing High School, Class of 1959. He was a veteran of The United States Army. Bob worked for Massillon Steel Castings for 21 years and then the Village of Navarre, retiring in 2006. He loved to do lawn care, garden, and help take care of his neighbors. He also enjoyed fishing, cards, traveling, making wine, and taking care of his 2015 Chevy Truck.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Roselynn (Matusek) Leone; children, Robert (Katherine) Leone and Richard Leone; grandchildren, Dylan M. Leone, Sammi Jo Cresong, and Tia C. Walters/Leone; great-grandchildren, Amara and Hunter; sister, Carman Moore; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy, Lillian, Daniel, Mary Ann, Betty Jane, Harold, Jeannie.

The family will gather privately at a later date.
