Robert L. Ronk

Robert L. Ronk, age 84 of Massillon, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Aultman Hospital. He was born on June 12, 1925 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of the late Wilson & Emma (Stonehill) Ronk. He was a Massillon resident all of his life. Following high school, Bob served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Bob retired from Babcock & Wilcox where he was a production scheduler. His memberships included the Clinton Lodge #47 F. & A.M. since 1948, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, the Al Koran Shrine Club and the Massillon Lions Club. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Alwyn Ronk. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Ronk, whom he married on May 4, 1952 and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, there are no calling hours or services scheduled. He will be entombed in the Mausoleum at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
