Robert L. Burtt

Robert L. Burtt, Sr., 76, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on December 9, 1938 to the late Oscar and Katherine (Koontz) Burtt. Robert retired from the City of Massillon in 1994 and was a member of the Massillon Eagles, Aerie 190, Brewster Moose, Massillon V.F. W, Post 3124 and the West Side Athletic Club. He is survived by his children, Terri (Kenneth ) Paulus, Robert (Jacquie ) Burtt, II, William (Shelly) Burtt and Holly (Dan) Zerbe; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Velda Snyder and Linda Schuck; three brothers, Gerald, Harold and Oscar Burtt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy E. (Henry) Burtt; five sisters; and five brothers. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5:00PM-8:00PM and on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 11:00AM -12:30PM with a funeral service following at 12:30PM, Rev.
