Robert L. App

Robert L. App, 91, passed away on May 13, 2016. He was born in Massillon on October 23, 1924. Bob was a graduate of Washington High School, 1942 and attended Canton Business College. He served in the United States Army. Bob owned and operated R.L. App Company and was proud to have worked on the area homes, schools and businesses. A member of Prestwick Country Club, he played a great game of golf at golf courses around the country. He is survived by his partner of forty years, Hermine Schwendiman; her son, John (Sandy) Schwendiman; grandsons, Tyler and Jake. Bob is also survived by his nephews, John R. Maxheimer of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Pymm and Jeffrey Pymm of Chico, CA and Charles Potts of Terra Haute, IN; nieces, Marcia (Jerry) Esterbrook of Las Vegas, NV and Charlotte Demeo of OH; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces. Friends may gather at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 1:00pm until a Celebration of Life Service at 1:30pm, Rev. Roderick Grabski, officiating. Private inurnment will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
