Robert Hogan

Robert W. Hogan, age 78, of Massillon passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 24, 1932 in Worcester, Massachusetts the son of the late Raymond Wood and Margaret (Hesse) Hogan. Robert was a salesman for the Parts Division of General Motors, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a very active member of Christ Lutheran Church where he was an usher, and served on church council for 40 years. On October 27, 1956 he married Maryann (Dinneen) and she survives along with daughters Cynthia (Roy) Hammock of Canal Fulton, and Carolyn Schoeppner of Massillon; grandchildren Meghan (Christopher), and Melanie (David) Abner; great-grandchildren Noah and Aiden Abner. The family will receive friends Friday, October 15th from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Christ Lutheran Church followed by a memorial service at 12 P.M. Rev. Nancy Bacon and Rev. Dennis Engler will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations in Robert’s memory may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund. Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd.
