Robert H. Peters

Robert H. Peters, 73 of Perry Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born on August 21, 1942 in Washington, D.C. and was the son of the late Fred and Irene Peters. Robert worked and retired from the Akron Beacon Journal. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jayne "Patti" Peters-Benton and his sister Charlotte. He is survived by his son, Scott Peters, daughters, Sherrie Monnot and Shellie (Dan) Peters, grandchildren Joshua (Toshia) Peters, Ciara Peters, Courtney Conter and Victoria Monnot, brother George (Jane) Peters, sister Jean (Bob) Gorden and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
