Robert H. Jones

Robert H. Jones, 85, of Jackson Township, has gone to his eternal home in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 8, 2015. He was born on May 17, 1929 in Grove City, PA to the late Sarah (Walters) and Austin H. Jones. After graduating from high school, he served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He worked as a pattern maker with Cooper Energy Service. Bob was a member of Calvary Chapel of Massillon. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Boyd) Jones, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage, 3 daughters, Diana Jones, Linda (Tom) Moody, and Amy (Robert) Renberg. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Seth Moody, Joel Moody, Kara (J.B.) Dunn, Megan Moody, Hannah (Brian) Hodgson, Emily Renberg, Adam Renberg, and Holly Renberg, great grandchildren, Avery, Jack, and Miles Hodgson and his sister, Jean Brown. A service to commemorate the life and faith of Bob Jones will take place on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 8151 Stuhldreher NW, Massillon, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 2:00-3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Calvary Chapel, 8151 Stuhldreher N.W., Massillon, Ohio 44646.
