Robert Fitting

Robert D. Fitting, age 62 of Massillon, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 at Affinity Medical Center – Massillon Campus. He was born on August 7, 1944 in Massillon to the late Walter and Ruth Fitting. Robert worked for Heinz Frozen Foods for 25 years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Eagles #190, the Fishing and Hunting Game Club in North Lawrence and the New Deal Club. He also enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and dressing up as Santa for Christmas. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his infant brother Walter Henry Fitting. He is survived by his sisters; Shirley Knight and Wanda Geiger both of Massillon, his aunt, Betty (Junior) Miller of Bolivar and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. Rev.
