Robert Earl Mcclelland

Robert Earl McClelland, age 69 of Massillon, Ohio, passed away in Canton on February 23, 2020. Robert was born on September 7, 1950 to George and Marian McClelland in Nelson, Nebraska. He served in the United States Army, and then owned several businesses as a mechanic. Robert enjoyed building racecar engines, was a fantastic cook, and had a colorful sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his niece, Barbara Stoney. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Kathy McClelland, children, Robert Michael McClelland, Michelle Lee Peet, and Shawn Allen McClelland, grandchildren, Mindy Kay McClelland, Jamison McClelland, Kristine Harris, Amanda Peet, Rebecca Peet, and Bowen Peet, great-grandchildren, Lilly Harris, Zoey Harris, Alexi Harris, Scarlet Harris, Mason Cowan, and soon to be, baby Emmitt Cowan, siblings, William McClelland, Susan (Lewis) Stoney, and Claudia Carpenter, and his brother from another mother, Oliver Story, as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family may come to call on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 12 to 2 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Massillon.
