Robert E. Dolzani, age 83 of Navarre, passed away Wednesday evening at Altercare of Navarre. He was born in Midvale, Ohio to the late Attilo & Emma (Gallineri) Dolzani on November 2, 1921. Robert graduated from Midvale Goshen Township High School before joining the Navy. He married the love of his life, Mary Dolzani on June 30, 1979. Robert supported his family by working as a tool & die man for the Timken Co. until his retirement in 1982. After he retired he had more time to spend with his family. He is a member of St. Clements Catholic Church, A past Commander of American Legion Fort Laurens Post 190 of Boliver, & past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Robert was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Trentino Alpine Club of Alliance, American Legion Past Commander Association, National American Association of retired persons and served on the board of Chapter 2898 of Canton, & the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2370 of Canton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fist wife, Wanda Dolzani & one son Danny L Wiggins. Survived by: Wife Mary (Moore-Wiggins) Dolzani of Navarre 3 sons Dr. Michael & Stacy Dolzani of Berea Jeffrey Dolzani of Dover Dean (Lynn) & Patricia Wiggins of Navarre 2 daughter Veda & Robert Dean of Navarre Cheryl & Jeff Smith of Navarre 1 Brother Len & Frances Dolzani of Urichsville 1 Sister Anne Erb of New Philadelphia Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren 10 Great-Great Grandchildren 2 There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Clements Catholic. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Sunday & 9-9:40 A.M on Monday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will take place in Calvary cemetery in New Philadelphia. Fr. Gibas will officiate.
