Robert Dale Parr

Robert Dale Parr, 74 of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 with his family at his side. He was born on May 16, 1941 in Massillon and was the son of the late Donald E. and Dorothy V. (Mason) Parr. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kay (Brown) Parr, whom he married on April 13, 1970 in Winchester, VA, and his brothers, Rodney Parr and Donald Parr. Loving father of Cyrena (Robert) Broyles of Massillon, OH, Tina (Jerry) TerLaan of Mesa, AZ and Dale Kay (Leonard) Burke of Reynoldsburg, OH. Proud grandfather of Michell (Bobby), RD (Angie), Nathan, Shawn (Shauna), Kristyn (Brett), Brenna (Forrest), Tyler, Kaitlyn, Leo and Aubrey. Great grandfather to Hannah, Logan, Jaden, Tatum, Keeley, Tarhianna, Braydon, Kensley and Harper. Brother to Beverly (Melvin) Henthorne. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Dale was a self-employed contractor, having worked for the former Boebinger Realtor's, a talented artist, music lover, Massillon Tiger football fan and avid lover of car restoration and all things fast. Dale will be remembered by his family and friends as a funny, stubborn, big-hearted man who loved to joke around and for his warm smile. The family will receive guests on Sunday evening, December 6th from 5-7 P.M. and then again one hour prior to the service at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Services will take place immediately following the viewing on Monday, December 7th at 11:00 am with Pastor John Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
