Robert C Hill, age 65, passed away Sunday, November 29th, 2020 at Mercy Hospital after a challenging battle with an illness. Robert was born August 8th, 1955 at Massillon City Hospital. His parents are long time barber Robert D. Hill, and Joan I. Hill (Reichenbach), both of Massillon. Bob was a 1973 graduate of Central Catholic Highschool and a committed member of the Massillon Community. Bob's passion for helping his friends and family was his driving force in life. He was always willing to go above and beyond for those he cared for. Prior to his retirement last year, Bob devoted 19 years as a Telecommunications Technician Manager for The Cleveland Clinic, and for the previous 25 years, he was a Computer and Network Technician at Camelot Records. He received numerous awards while working for both companies for his outstanding service. Bob always valued his education, and attended numerous institutions such as Stark State Technical, Akron University, and Kent State-Stark. Outside of being a devoted friend, family member, and employee, Bob was a talented pilot, earning his license at just 16. He always kept busy through an array of other hobbies he loved, such as boating, playing the guitar, and self-defense martial arts, where he earned both his yellow and red belt. Bob lived a full life of what made him the happiest. Bob is survived by his father, Robert D. Hill, his sister, Pamela Hill, and his niece, Natalie Santoro, as well as a host of family and friends. Services will be held privately. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date for those who would like to help commemorate his memory. Because of Roberts yearly participation in the American Cancer Society Walk, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
