Robert “Butch” Fisher, 64, passed away suddenly on March 22, 2011 in Massillon, OH. Butch was born on July 9, 1946 in Massillon to the late James Fisher and Ann Fisher (Grant). He graduated from Washington High School in 1965, and proudly served in Vietnam with the U.S Army. He worked for 20 years at Remlinger Oldsmobile/Cadillac in Massillon. He also co-owned and operated F & W Body Shop, in addition to operating The Third Base Tavern, and Butch’s Auto Detailing, where he made everyone feel welcome and everyone was a friend. Butch was always known to lend a helping hand. Butch is survived by his loving daughter, Kathy Ehmer (Todd) of Massillon. He was a devoted grandfather to and was adored by his grandchildren, Stone Ehmer, Shyann Ehmer, and Brittany Slabaugh of Massillon. Also survived by his mother Ann Fisher, his sisters, Jackie Petyovszki (Shorty) and Carol Fisher, brothers, James Fisher and Guy Fisher (Shirley), and a host of nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. He also leaves behind a special friend, Irene Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father James Fisher and his cherished sister Ginger Spangler. Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1:00P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral. Visitation will be from 10A.M. to 1 P.M. with Burial at Massillon Cemetery.
