Robert Bryan "Bob" Powers

Robert “Bob” Bryan Powers left his earthly body and entered his heavenly home on February 24, 2023, at the age of 73. He was born on October 20, 1949, to the late Robert and Grace Powers in Wadsworth, Ohio. He graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1967. He then earned a degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1970. He was drafted into the Army and served from 1970 to 1972. He started his career with ODNR in the Ohio State Parks Division, retiring from there in January 2002. Spending time with his family was very special to him. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing with his fishing buddies.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Terry; 3 sons, Derek (Becky), Ryan (Carmen), and Robert (Amanda); 8 grandchildren, Eva, Gwendolyn, Myka, Beckett, Tony, Caden, Mallory & Jessica; brother, Dwight (Cheryl); sister, Lorraine (Bob) Himmelein; and several nieces, & nephews.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Internment with Military Honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
