Robert "Bob" Lee Dennis

Robert “Bob” L. Dennis, age 88 of Canton, reunited with the love of his life on her heavenly birthday, November 26, 2021. He was born in Minerva on January 24, 1933 to the late Jessie and Rebecca Dennis. He married Patty Randall on November 9, 1951 sharing 63 years together until her passing in 2014. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army as a Medic during the Korean War. After military service he worked as a Rigger for B&W 32 years and worked as a truck driver for D.L. Belknap Trucking for 12 years until his retirement. He was a member of American Legion #44 and the Canton Moose. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, papa and friend. He is survived by his son-in-law Donald Hill; his granddaughters Cari (Michael) Wittman and Ashley (Ryan) Stanish; his great-grandchildren Lily, Lauren, Luke and Liam as well as a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by his daughter Patsy J. Hill and siblings. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, December 01, 2021 at 11a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral home in Massillon. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery in Minerva where military honors will be rendered for his honorable and faithful service to his country.
