Robert "Bob" L. Harig

Robert "Bob" L. Harig Jr., 79, of Massillon, passed away on November 8, 2022 at Aultman Hospital.

He was born on November 8, 1943 in Massillon, OH. to the late Robert and Eileen (Coyne) Harig Sr. He was a 1963 graduate of Washington High School. On May 5, 2003, he married Alithia Jonas and they shared 19 years together until Bob's passing.

He served his county in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967. Bob worked as a Bus Driver for Connecticut Transit for 25 years until his retirement. He was a member of American Legion Post #220 in Massillon. He was a hard core Euchre player, enjoyed music and singing, and loved his faithful canine companion Bentley.

Bob will be remembered as a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his loving Wife, Alithia; his daughter, Amy Gradijan; his son, Jason Harig; his step-daughter, Annette (Jay) Bonnell; nine grandchilden; his sisters, Connie Boney and Vicki (Tom) Mathers, his good friends Dave and Beverly Leak as his friends from Connecticut, Rose and Barbara as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter Christine Grimes; his step-on, Sterling Jones and his Sister, Carol Wenzel.
