Robert "Bob" L. Brown

Robert “Bob” L. Brown, age 83, of Massillon passed away on November 08, 2021. He was born on January 21, 1938 to the late Walter and Josephine (Laurer) Brown. He married Sharon Coleman on July 09, 1974 and they shared almost 25 years together until her passing in 1999. Bob was a Grinder in the Cleaning Room for Quality Castings for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hunting, and pontooning. Bob was known as a guy who would give you the shirt off his back and was devoted to his family. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children Kathlene (Paul) Ashley, Timothy (Trisha) Anderson and John (Ann) Anderson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his sister Linda (Clayton) Bennett; his brother Kenneth (Cindy) Brown and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by his son Rob; his sisters Hazel Geibel, Shirley Barnhart, Thelma Martin and Wanda Winters and his brother Walter “Butch” Brown. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11a.m. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 6 to 8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service.
