Robert "Bob" James Vukelic

Robert "Bob" James Vukelic, 73, of Canton, passed away on April 13, 2023. He was born on March 18, 1950 in Massillon to the late George and Rose (Boda) Vukelic. He was a 1969 graduate of Massillon Washington High School.

Bob worked at Republic Steel for 33 years and later worked at Chapel Hill Retirement Community in grounds and maintenance. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and was drawn to nature. He loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed watching his Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State Buckeyes. He was known for his overwhelming generosity, kindness, loyalty and love of family and friends. His world revolved around his daughter and granddaughter. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Bob will be sorely missed and forever remembered by the lives he touched.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Hanna; his granddaughter Adylen Grace Hanna; his former wife and mother of his daughter Janet (Cline) Dorety; his sister Patricia (Philip) Bucci; his nephew Jeffrey (Diane) Kiko; his niece Lisa (Tony) Brown and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Vukelic.
