Robert James Armour, 73, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, 2025. Rob was born June 7, 1951, in Rochester, PA, the son of the late Donald Cameron and Sarah (Thompson) Armour.
Rob was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the Washington High School class of 1969. He had a love of music his entire life and was a member of several bands. Just a few were Big Lou and the Move, The Mauds, Gutz, and River’s Edge. Rob played the drums, guitar and keyboards plus sang vocals. He also produced his own album: Nu Revo.
He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth “Betsy” Studer (Nick Weidner) and Jane Bernas (Daniel Paul); nephews and nieces, Jason (Janell) Bernas, Sam (Rebecca) Studer, Dan (Amy) Studer, Sarah Studer, Zack (Melanie) Bernas, David (Vivianne) Bernas, and Joe (Brittany) Studer; plus, several great nieces and nephew.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John “Jack” Armour, his brother-in-law Steve Studer and an infant niece Elizabeth Studer.
