Robert A. Henry

Robert A. “Red” Henry, age 82 of Massillon, died on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1927 in Massillon and was the son of the late John and Ethel (Bailey) Henry. In 1945 he graduated from Washington High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served as a medical assistant during World War II. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 221. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Morgan and Mildred Nickles. On September 12, 1947 he married the former Julie A. Radick. They have been married for 62 years. Also surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Robert M and Marlene Henry of Greenville, SC, daughters and sons–in-law, Kathy and Charles Gregorcic of Canton and Janie and David Adkins of Mt. Sterling, OH, his grandchildren, Nathan (Ashley), Christopher (Jamie), Jennifer and Lindsay, his brother Donald Henry of Massillon and his sisters, Lavonne Robinson and Marian (Gerald) Bailis of Massillon. A service to celebrate the life of Robert A. Henry will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE in Massillon with Pastor Greg Becker officiating.
