Robert A. Grey, age 76 of Massillon, died on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on September 26, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Ebding) Grey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict from 1954-56. After his honorable discharge from the U.S Army, he was employed at ADT Alarm Company for 20 years. He was the owner and operator of local nursing homes in the area and retired to operate Willow Cove Marina in Marblehead, OH. He is survived by his wife, Frances H. (Westfall) Grey, whom he married on January 3, 1954, his children and their spouses, Susan (Raymond) Jones of Massillon, Robert (Judy) Grey of Port Clinton, OH, Ronald (Jackie) Grey of Massillon and Lori (Eddie) Moore of Massillon, his grandchildren, Mike (Jennifer), Heather (Matthew), Mathew (Megan), Bo, Taylor, Dan, Stephanie and Andrew, his great grandchildren, Hailey, Sophia, Cole, Kaylee, Kaitlyn, Brady, Chance, Delaney and Madden. Also surviving are his brother George (Susan) Grey of Brunswick, OH and Bill Grey of Belize, his sister, Arlene Huntley of Cleveland, and his dog Abbey. A service to celebrate the life of Robert A. Grey will take place on Saturday, February 26th at 2:30 P.M. with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Cremation will follow and he will be entombed at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 – 2:30. P.M. His family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Affinity Medical Center for the care they gave to Bob.
