Robbie Mae Sullivan, 85, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Williamston, SC on March 18, 1931 to the late Gilbert and Edith (Jones) Broner. She was dedicated to her children, family and her community. Always helping others, she was an avid volunteer at many area foodbanks and an active and faithful member of St. James A.M.E. Zion Church. She is survived by her children, Steve Sullivan, The Rev. Dr., Bernard Sullivan, Jr., Mae (Jeff Blake) Chapman and Deborah Sullivan Wheeler; nineteen grandchildren; thirty two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Randolph "Jack" Broner and Franklin Broner; and a sister, Dr. Linda Galloway. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard H. Sullivan; two sons, Gregory A. Sullivan and Timothy J. Sullivan; sister, Francis Ray; and a brother, Gilbert Broner, Jr. Friends and family will gather at the St. James A.M.E. Zion Church on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10:30am-11:00am with a Home Going Celebration Service at 11:00am. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
