Rita M. Jacquet

Rita M. Jacquet age 87 of Massillon passed away Thursday August 16, 2012 at Meadow Winds. Rita was born January 27, 1925 in Maximo, OH to the late Raymond & Helen (Upperman) Tournoux. She was a 1943 graduate of Louisville High School. She was a resident of Massillon since 1956 and had been employed at Baltzly Drug and St. Barbara Rectory for a number of years. An active member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church where she was involved as a Eucharistic minister and the Ladies Guild. In addition to her parents her husband, Robert J. Jacquet passed away in 1966; two brothers, Marion and Richard Tournoux; two sisters, Lucina Erbland and Mildred Schneider. Rita is survived by three children and their spouses, Robert & Patricia Jacquet, Thomas Jacquet and Jeffrey & Tish Jacquet; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; four siblings, Joseph Tournoux, Bernie Tournoux, Marie Rosia, Helen McMillen and Carol Renie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Monday at St. Barbara's Catholic Church, her pastor Fr. Thomas Cebula will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
