Rita L. Ross

Rita Lou Ross, 78 of Perry Township, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Rita was born on September 24, 1938 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Ernest and Virginia (Rush) Dayhuff. Rita was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1956 graduate of Washington High School. She retired from both the First Energy Corporation and Dollar Bank Servicing Center. Rita enjoyed gardening, landscaping, home decorating, and rescuing animals. She is survived by her children’s father, Frank J. Ross; children and their spouses, Lisa (Mark) Najda, Victoria Marshall, and Stephen (Amy) Ross; grandchildren, Mandy Ross, Ashley Najda, Stephen Ross II, and Erica Dawn; and her great grandson, Maxsim Myles Najda. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
