Rita H Reams

Rita H Reams greeted many family and friends in eternal peace on January 5, 2021. Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sanford N Reams, her beloved daughter Deborah Champion, her beloved nephew Brian, her parents Anna and Joseph Paulik, her brothers Joe, Francis, Al, Carl, and Bob and her sisters Ann Bullach, Mary Snyder, and Zita Wantz and many beloved friends. Rita lived a full life in Massillon as well as Bonita Springs, Florida. As an avid golfer, she was proud of her holes in one. She was a long-term member of Shady Hollow Country Club and a resident of the Worthington golf community in Florida. Off the course, Rita was a competitive bridge player always up for an afternoon game. She was very involved for many years with the Massillon Woman’s Club. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Mary’s parish. Born April 4, 1926 in Brookfield (Massillon), she graduated from Washington High School and married Sanford in 1951. They spent many happy years together. Rita is survived by her children Joe, Anne (Burns), Sandy and Dan and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Both memorial services and the internment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Rita’s name to a charity of your choice.
