Richard Mcguire

Richard McGuire, 88, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 in Canton. Richard was born on March 24, 1934 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Edward McGuire and Helen (Watson) McGuire. Richard served in The Korean Conflict in The United States Army and worked for the M.C.A. Sign Company and retired after 42 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing, bingo , poker and being with his family. He is survived by wife, Grace M. (Millard) McGuire; children, Larry (Alex) McGuire, Donald (Edna) McGuire, Yvonne (Gene) Strader and Crystal (Fred) Gernert; siblings, Judy Walsh and Karen (Donald) Fowler; fifteen grandchildren ; thirty one great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his children, Richard P. McGuire, Jr. and Brenda Bishop; siblings, Charles McGuire, Tom McGuire, Dale McGuire,Donald McGuire, Joel McGuire, Laura Boone, Eleanore Warren,Edna Decker, Sally Millard and John McGuire. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 6pm - 8pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Home, 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10:30am also at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Brookfield Cemetery.
