Richard E. Patton

Richard E. Patton, age 48 of Massillon passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Salem, Ohio on March 15, 1960 to the late Richard & Kathleen (Archibald) Patton. Rick graduated from Washington High School in 1979. He was currently employed at the Massillon Post Office as a clerk. Rick enjoyed working in his garden & doing landscaping. He was also an avid sports fan. He loved to vacation & spend time with his family. Rick was known for his kindness & made friends with everyone he met. He will especially be remembered for the loving care he gave his mother. Rick was a member of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by 3 sisters Rebecca & Gerald Pellegrino of Canton Nancy Patton & Jean Block of Columbus Peggy & Krist Gugov of Massillon 2 brothers Randy & Linda Patton of Massillon Timothy & Leona Patton of Massillon Numerous nieces & nephews He was a wonderful uncle and brother who will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 10 A.M. at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Fr.
