Richard E. Mckinney

Richard E. McKinney, 75 of Massillon, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born on December 24, 1933 in Wolf Summit, WV and was the son of the late William Richard and Thelma (Holbert) McKinney. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He retired as a millwright at Republic Steel following 34 years of service. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn G. McKinney, his sons Richard W. “Junior” McKinney and Robert E. McKinney and his brother Arlie McKinney. He is survived by his son Dale (Nicole) McKinney of Canal Fulton, his daughter Becky (Bob) Helmick of North Carolina, his grandchildren, Taylor, Mateya, Kayla, Sophia and Craig McKinney and a great grandson Jayce Allen McKinney.
