Richard E. Bursey

Richard E. Bursey, 82 of Massillon, passed away Friday at Affinity Medical Center. He was born in Massillon on May 20, 1926. He served during World War II and was honorably discharged from the Army. Richard retired from Perry Rubber from the maintenance department. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Bursey, daughter, Peggy Davis; sisters, Stella, Grace & Meta and a brother, Joseph Bursey. He is survived by Darrelyn Bursey of the residence; daughter and son in law, Patricia & Gil Soley of Massillon; sister, Irene Bucci; two grandchildren, James (Dawn) McCorkle & Diana Washington and his great grandchildren, Ashley Hamilton, Wendell Washington and Kaitlyn McCorkle. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the services. Interment will be in Massillon Cemetery.
