Richard 'Dick' Zelle

Richard C. 'Dick' Zelle, 77, of Jackson Twp., passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1936 in Cleveland and resided in Jackson Twp. for over 50 years. Dick graduated from The Ohio State University where he received his B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Upon his graduation he began working at the Timken Co. retiring after 33 years of service. He and his wife, Eileen loved traveling along with watching the Buckeye's and the Cleveland Browns. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Jean (Bozik) Zelle, his wife, Eileen (Percun) Zelle of 49 years, his brother, Robert Zelle, and his daughter-in-law, Laura Zelle. He is survived by his sons and their spouses, Mark (Paula) Zelle of Canton, and Michael (Amy) of Jackson Twp.; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Hayden, Talia, and Alea Zelle, and Serena Thomas; along with many dear family members. A Celebration of Dick's Life will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Al Dangelo will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1 p.m. before the service.
