Richard "Dick" Steiner

Richard “Dick” P. Steiner, age 81, life-long resident of Massillon passed away on July 8, 2020. He was born on July 1, 1939, to the late John and Loretta (Klein) Steiner. Dick graduated from Washington High School class of 1957. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1960. Dick was an active member of the American Legion Post #221 and the Sons and Daughters of Herman. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Pauline Gresser, sisters Jacqueline Steiner and Sandra Bucksbarg, and grandson Spencer Dodrill. He is survived by his children Pamela (Lee) Dodrill, Kenneth (Kelly) Steiner, and John (Debbie) Steiner; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley (Jack) Conkle; and a host of nieces and nephews. A private service will be held for the immediate family. Final resting place will be at St. Clement’s Cemetery in Navarre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s honor to the American Heart Association. A special thanks to Mercy Hospice and Chapel Hill staff for all the wonderful care Richard received.
