Richard Dale Armstrong

Richard D. " Beggar" Armstrong, 64, passed away on Wednesday following an extended illness. He was born in Hardy, AR on November 13, 1951 to the late Bernice Armstrong and the late Wanda (Spurlock) Shultz. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Jeandrevin) Armstrong, whom he married on March 18, 1991; their children, Andrew (Terri) Armstrong of Newberry, Joseph and Craig Armstrong both of Canton; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Ronald E. (Virginia) Armstrong of Gaithersburg, MD; and two sisters, Linda (Charles) Albrecht of Bryan, TX and Marilyn (Daniel) George of Rimersburg, PA. He is also preceded in death by his son, Richard E. Armstrong. A private memorial service will be held at the Family Farm in PA at a later date.
