Richard C. Ginther

Richard C. Ginther, age 88, passed away on December 06, 2014. He was born in Massillon on September 07, 1926 to Kathryn (Wehrle) and Charles H. Ginther. He married Dorothy M. Woods, and they shared 64 years until his passing. Dick was a graduate of Washington High School, a World War II veteran and a long-time employee of MCA Sign Company. He was a devoted Massillon Tigers fan and enjoyed sports, camping, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. In addition to his wife Dorothy, he is survived by his son Rick (Helen) Ginther; his grandchildren Jennifer (Christopher) Kludy, Mark (Libby) Ginther, Richard Ginther II, Jessica (Timothy) Michaels; his great-grandchildren Avery Michaels, Greyden Ginther and Callum Kludy and his sister Dorris Ruddell. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his son Mark (Marie) Ginther and a brother John Ginther. A memorial gathering with refreshments will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Perry Christian Church. In lieu of flowers donations in Dick's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
