Richard B. Hardman III, 72 of Canton, passed away May 14, 2005 at Aultman Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1932 in Massillon to the late Richard B. and Frances (Warner) Hardman Jr. He was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School and made his home in Massillon until 1996. He served in the Navy from 1952 until 1960. He was a senior inventory control specialist for IBM in Akron and retired in 1991. Following retirement he was a courier for the Beacon Title. His hobbies included classical music, physics and astronomy. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Richard B. & Tammy Hardman IV of Twentynine Palms, CA., Clarice & Steve DiRuzza of Alliance, Michelle & Tom Gardner of Massillon; sisters & brother-in-law, Frances & George Goodwin of Santa Fe, NM., Jean Seals of Santa Fe, NM.; grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, Saranda, Richard B. V, Savannah, Daniel, Nathan, Noah, Maria, Natalie, Sebastian, Clarissa & Logan; former wife of 36 years, Lynette Ruetz.
