Rhea M. Blake

Rhea M. Blake, age 90 of Massillon passed away Wednesday October 22, 2008 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. Rhea was born December 13, 1917 in Smithville, OH., to the late James & Cora (Arnold) Gilmore. Rhea was raised by Clyde & Cora Detweiler in Massillon. She was employed as a cook for many years and retired from Indian River Correctional Facility. Rhea was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Blake (1996), a sister Bertha Gilmore (2006) and a son Charles J. Blake (2007). She is survived by her daughter Patricia Kronenbitter of Canton, a cousin Peg Jogen of Wooster, a daughter in law, Karen Blake of Massillon and two grandchildren: Charles Blake of Verona, PA and Kim Gordon of Lima, OH. Mrs. Blake will be interred at Rose Hill Memorial Garden at the family’s convenience. Memorials can be sent to Aultman Hospice.
