Regina Mcguire

Regina Rae McGuire, age 59, of Canton, a dedicated wife and mother went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was at home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 29, 1954, in Plantsville to the late Franklin and Miriam Eloise (Tate) Mayle. At age twelve, her family moved to Canton. Regina was a graduate of McKinley High School, Class of 72. She was hired by The Timken Company as a high school senior, then full time upon graduation and worked there for 36 years before she retired in December, 2008. Regina loved sewing, golfing, shopping, traveling and spending time with family and special friends. She is survived by her husband Jeffery McGuire, whom she married on September 7, 1979; their children Camille McGuire of Canton and Von McGuire of Orlando, FL; sister Cynthia (Martin) Thompkins of Canton; brother Tim Mayle of Alliance; Brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Lauren (Carol) McGuire, Keith McGuire, Debbie McGuire, Mike McGuire, Valerie McGuire and Kim McGuire. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, Rev. Charles Prince, officiating and Rev. Anthony Robinson eulogizing. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
