Rebecca Ann “Becky” Gatsios, 71, of Canton, went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 24, 2021. Becky was born on July 17, 1950, in Massillon, the daughter of Charles Campbell and Ruth (Conaway) Shook. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1968 graduate of Washington High School. Becky was the bookkeeper at both the Massillon Baptist Temple and Anchor Baptist Church for almost 40 years. She helped with ticket sales for all the Massillon Tiger events for over 20 years and worked part-time at the Massillon Ticket Office. Becky loved her family and especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Herb, Timothy, and Bruce Campbell and her sister Lori Campbell. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas G. Gatsios, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage on June 12, 1971; her children, Michelle (Bryce) Wolfe and Jason (Kelley) Gatsios; grandchildren, Zach, Tori, Molly, and James; brother, Scott (Leanne) Shook; and numerous nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Becky’s life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral from 12-2 p.m. before the service.
