Rebecca A. Piatt

Rebecca A. Piatt, 70 of Lawrence Township, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Becky was born on July 27, 1946 in Massillon the daughter of the late Ford and Margaret (Weidner) Hossler. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1964 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Becky was a home health aide and worked part-time at the Village Tavern. She enjoyed reading, baking, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Tuslaw PTO and Newman Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Piatt and her step-son Rafe Piatt. She is survived by her son, Joshua Piatt of Massillon; brother, William Hossler of New York; sister, Mary (William) Kelly of Salt Spring, FL; step - sons, Shane Piatt of Massillon and Eric Piatt of Georgia; and several step-grandchildren. A Celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Jamie Ryder will be Officiating.
