Raymond L. Nutter

Raymond L. Nutter, 71 of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Ray was born on August 31, 1946 in Barberton, Ohio the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Langguth) Nutter. He proudly served our country as a United States Air Force veteran. Ray was the former owner and president of Apple Flooring and Tile. He enjoyed camping, bird watching, fishing and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Bev Sheely. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy (Rohr) Nutter, whom he shared 34 years of marriage; children, Jackie (Jamie) Soles, and Eric (Misty Haider) Nutter; step-children, Frank Burkett and Amy (Don) Olszewski, M.D.; grandchildren, Angel, Madeline, Dustin, Carter, Abby, Madison, Dakota and Cheyenne; and his brother, Russ Nutter. A Celebration of Ray’s life will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 - 3 p.m. before the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
