Raymond F. Ketler

Raymond F. Ketler, age 91, of Navarre, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born on July 5, 1921 in Kenova, WV, the son of the late Thomas and Osieola (Gibbs) Ketler. Raymond lived in the area most of his life. He was a United States Army veteran and served our country during WWII where he received 3 Bronze Stars. Raymond worked at Republic Steel as an electrician until retiring in 1982. He was also a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah E. (Evans) Ketler in 2007, his daughter, Marcella Yoho and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Cynthia (Dennis E.) Smith, and Darrell L. (Bonnie) Ketler; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at Newman Creek Cemetery. Rev. Cecil Thayer will be Officiating.
