Raymond Douglas Parr

Raymond Douglas Parr, age 61 went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2013. He was born on March 13, 1952 in Massillon to Lourine and the late Robert V. Parr Sr. Doug proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during two tours in Vietnam. He worked for many years as a Millwright and Welder for many years until his retirement. Doug enjoyed spending time fishing and gardening with his family. He will be remembered as a great son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend . He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Barbara Parr; his children, Joseph (Michele) Parr, Shirley (Troy) Martin, Tina (Mark) Stockwell, Vanessa Griez; 12 grandchildren; his mother Lourine Parr; his brother Kim (Junea) Parr; his sisters Kathy (Bill) Flood, Dorraine Snyder, Michelle Smith; his best friends Tim and Sue Woods, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert V. Parr Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2P.M Pastor Elaina Styblo officiating.
