Raymond Anthony Loar

Raymond Anthony 'Tony' Loar, 45 of Massillon, died on Sunday at Affinity Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1966 in Massillon and was the son of W. Dean Loar and Gloria (Martinez) Loar. Tony graduated from GlenOak in 1985 and then went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Gannon University in Erie, PA. He enjoyed dirt bike racing, fishing and camping. He was a hard worker at everything. He loved family and friends gatherings. Those who knew him, loved him. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 190. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur and Myrna (Hall) Loar. Tony is survived by his father, W. Dean Loar, his mother Gloria A. Loar, his stepbrother Victor Stanley and his step sister Debbie Stanley. Also surviving are many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Cremation will follow and he will be interred at Brookfield Cemetery.
