Raymond A. Lintner, age 90 of Navarre, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on April 5, 1922 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of the late Adolph and Dorothy (Baker) Lintner. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. He worked for many years at the former Alice's Restaurant in Navarre and was known as Jimmy Ray playing Big Band music around the area. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Lintner and his sisters, Judy Kelly and Mary Ellen Krichbaum. He is survived by his children, Sandy (Dennis) Speicher, Mitchell (Helen) Lintner and Richard Lintner. Also surviving are his sister, Patricia (Clarence) Conley, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish with Fr. Michael Seifert officiating. Burial will follow at East Union Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:30 A.M. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Lintner's name.
