Ray E. 'Toby' Warne, age 74 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday following a lengthy illness at his residence. He was born on July 7, 1932 in Cambridge to the late Walter and Arletta Warne. Toby had retired from Holderbaum’s Plumbing in 1990. He and his wife attended Sixteen St. John's Church in Massillon. Toby was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He was a member of Harley’s Owner Group in Canton. Toby was actively involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for many years, riding and gathering support. He was a member of both the F.O.E. #190 and the Moose Lodge #481. Toby is survived by his wife, Etta Warne after 50 yrs. of marriage, son, Tim (Bev) Warne of Orrville, OH, step-son, Allen (Gayle) Neago of Massillon, OH, grandchildren; Chad Warne, Leslie Warne, Second Lieutenant Jason Neago, and Ashley Neago, sister, Bonnie Jean (Junior) Wilson of Roseville, OH. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Tom Hough of Sixteen St. John's Church will be officiating.
