Randall Schuler, age 59, of Massillon passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center as a result of injuries from an automobile accident. He was born in Massillon November 3, 1950 the son of Homer and Rita (Houck) Schuler. Randall was a retired fireman with the Timken Corp. He graduated from Massillon Washington High School where he was on the swim team. He was a member of MAPS (a non-profit organization devoted to studying and restoring military aircraft), and enjoyed building and flying his own ultra-light aircraft. Randall enjoyed playing euchre, going to garage sales, and spending time with family. Randall is survived by his son Christopher (Erin) Schuler of Massillon; daughter Dawn Dunlop of Pennsylvania; grandchildren Alexis and Ty Schuler; mother Rita Schuler of Massillon; brother Kenneth (Marlene) Schuler of Massillon; sisters Kathy Schuler, and Debbie (Thomas) Schmidt both of Massillon; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Homer Schuler and a brother Terry (Alice) Schuler. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Tuesday August 24th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Barbara’s Catholic Cemetery. Contributions in Randall’s memory may be made to MAPS. Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd.
